100 USD Chimpanzee Habituation Experience Permits – This is a new Chimpanzee Habituation Experience with the Buraiga Group. The permits began to be offered January 1 -2018.
This is the Habituation Experience for the more adventurous, a longer trek, more iffy chimpanzee viewing since the group is in the early stages of Habituation, a process that takes two years or longer.

It is all about comfort and protection. Yes, you are in the tropics, yes, Kibale Forest is a Jungle and yet your comfort and protection depends on the right clothing and footwear.
Look the Uganda Wildlife Authority Rangers, they wear long trousers, long-sleeved trousers, bring along ponchos and have hats on.
They also wear rubber boots called wellies that can easily be cleaned, give support and cover up to the knees – protection and comfort.
